What changed since the first Demo wave?

Nate Hand Gesture now has two distinct Steam listings: the Windows Demo released on July 24, 2026, while the larger full game remains Coming soon. The creator also continues to publish Windows and Android builds and development notes on the official itch.io page.

This matters because older guides that said “the Steam Demo is not available” are now out of date. It does not mean that the full game has launched.

Snapshot on September 1, 2026

  • The official itch.io project showed a 4.8/5 rating from 76 ratings when checked.
  • Chinese creator 阿力阿力栗's Bilibili commentary was published on August 25 and had passed 80,000 plays by this snapshot.
  • Steam's public discussion board showed roughly 90 active topics, covering language requests, release questions, bug reports and player reactions.
  • Indonesian outlet KoKang Gaming reported that the developer had announced 25,000 Steam wishlists. This is a media-reported developer figure; this fan site cannot independently verify private wishlist data.

These numbers come from different surfaces and should not be added together as a single “audience” total. They show distribution across storefronts, creator video and discussion—not unique players, retention or sales.

What does the community appear to care about?

The strongest public content does more than repeat the game's name. Videos and discussions focus on the contrast between an intimate hand game and an unsafe opponent, Nate's visual presence, the Demo's endings, and questions about what the larger release will add.

That suggests three useful content directions for this guide:

  1. Keep availability pages precise about the Steam Demo versus the full game.
  2. Pair short creator videos with sourced story and endings guides.
  3. Offer clearly unofficial fan-made interactions and art without presenting them as game assets.

What is still not verified?

Public sources do not reveal unique Demo downloads, completed playthroughs, the full game's conversion from wishlist to purchase, or this site's visitor-to-Demo conversion. Those figures should remain unverified until an owner-controlled analytics or developer source supplies them.

For the current download split, read the Steam release status. For the available community videos, return to the homepage watchlist.
