What is Nate Hand Gesture?
Nate Hand Gesture is a psychological-horror visual novel created by Gilang. The player is trapped with an entity named Nate and must manage her Mood while playing rock-paper-scissors for requests, survival and different endings.
The public build is still a short Demo. The larger Steam game is announced but has not been released.
Where is the official Nate Hand Gesture download?
The creator distributes the current Windows archive and Android APK through the official itch.io project. Itch.io currently presents the download as name your own price, but availability and files can change while the project is in development.
Avoid third-party mirrors, repacked executables and modified APKs. This fan site does not host the game files.
Can you play Nate Hand Gesture online in a browser?
No official browser build is listed on the creator's page as of August 17, 2026. The official releases are downloadable Windows and Android builds, while the Steam version remains unavailable.
The simulator on this site is an original fan-made rock-paper-scissors practice tool. It does not reproduce the original dialogue, artwork, code, probabilities or endings. Read the online play and download guide for the exact distinction.
Is the Demo available on Android?
Yes. The official itch.io listing currently includes an Android-fix APK. Device compatibility can vary, so record the phone model and Android version when reporting a problem. Use the Android black-screen guide for safe first checks.
Is Nate Hand Gesture available on Steam?
The official Steam page exists, but its release status is Coming soon. Steam displays a Demo section while also saying the game is not yet available there. Wishlist the official store page rather than downloading a file that claims to be an unreleased Steam build.
The Steam status page records what is confirmed without inventing a date.
How many endings are in the current Demo?
The creator confirms one main route, three death endings and several other outcomes. Complete community runs currently support five distinct conclusions: three death endings, the Mommy Ending and Demo Complete.
The exact routes contain full spoilers, so use the all-endings walkthrough only when ready.
How do wins, losses and requests work?
Three wins earn one request. Two losses let Nate consume a body part. Draws do not advance either threshold, and the final story request appears after 12 total wins in recorded runs.
Some requests provide lore, some change Mood, some can recover the player and one documented request is fatal. The requests and rewards guide lists them in order.
Is there a guaranteed rock-paper-scissors pattern?
No guaranteed sequence has been demonstrated. Videos show Nate repeating gestures and later breaking the repetition. The official description says Mood affects whether she lets the player win or makes the player lose, but it does not publish an algorithm.
Use recent gestures as observations, not promises. The hand-game strategy separates recorded behavior from unsupported fan formulas.
Is Nate Hand Gesture a virus?
The creator says the closing behavior is part of Nate's fourth-wall interaction and states that the game is not a virus. A July 14 update removed the need for administrator access. That creator statement does not replace ordinary download safety: use only the official source, scan the archive and do not disable system-wide protection.
Current builds should not require administrator privileges. See Windows troubleshooting if the native Demo is blocked or behaves unexpectedly.
Why does deleting the Windows folder not reset progress?
The creator's July 12 update says Windows save data is stored in the Registry. Deleting the extracted game folder can therefore leave the Loop count intact. Do not remove unknown Registry entries; ask the creator for a supported current reset location.
Does the game contain mature or NSFW material?
The Steam page's developer-provided mature-content description lists violence, brief nudity, blood, mass killing and torture. The game also uses captivity, body-harm and suggestive themes. That warning should not be converted into a promise of explicit sexual content that the creator has not made.
Players who are uncomfortable with those themes should skip the Demo or watch a reviewed playthrough first. The dedicated 18+ content and age guide explains the official warning without adding route spoilers.
Which languages are supported?
Steam currently lists English interface and subtitles. Itch.io devlogs document multilingual testing plus Japanese and Spanish-related updates to the short Demo. Language quality and availability may differ between builds, so the current download is the authority for the Demo.
This guide site maintains original English and Chinese articles; those translations do not imply that an official Chinese game build exists.
Will paying on itch.io provide a future Steam key?
No official source reviewed here guarantees a Steam key for current itch.io supporters. Treat a donation as support for the creator unless Gilang publishes explicit key terms.
Is this the official Nate Hand Gesture website?
No. Natehandgesture.online is an independent fan-made guide and practice site. It is not operated by Gilang, does not host the Demo and does not claim developer endorsement. Official downloads, announcements and release decisions belong to the creator's itch.io and Steam pages.
When was this FAQ checked?
The answers were checked on August 17, 2026 against the official itch.io project, official development logs and official Steam store page. Because the game is in development, download names, languages and availability should be rechecked after new creator announcements.
